Student Housing Nova Scotia (SHNS) is expanding its presence in Wolfville with the acquisition of 204 Pleasant Street, growing its portfolio to 113 units. The 46-unit property is less than a ten minute walk to Acadia University, and is located directly adjacent to its existing property on Hillside Avenue. The acquisition will allow SHNS to offer more housing to students in a community where rental demand is consistently high and affordable options remain limited. This is SHNS’ largest acquisition to date, and the latest in SHNS’ continued investment in the Annapolis Valley over the last two years, having acquired properties in Wolfville, Kingston, and Lawrencetown.

Student Housing Nova Scotia (SHNS) is continuing its province-wide expansion with the purchase of 56 units in the Annapolis Valley. Over the past six months, SHNS acquired 22 units in Lawrencetown located just minutes away from Nova Scotia Community College’s Centre of Geographic Sciences (COGS). Earlier this week, an additional 34 units in Kingston were added to SHNS’ portfolio, positioned within a short drive from COGS and NSCC’s Annapolis Valley Campus in Middleton.

Sadie is a passionate leader and advocate with an extensive background and strong commitment to addressing the challenges facing students in our province. Sadie has a Bachelor of Community Development from Acadia University, having previously served two terms as President of the Acadia Students’ Union (ASU) and on Acadia’s Board of Governors. During that time she also served as Chair of the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations (CASA) and Vice Chair of Students Nova Scotia.
